Youth Employment Services (YES), a non-profit, community organization that delivers English-language job-search and self-employment services to Quebecers is seeking an Artists Program Coordinator.
The person will be responsible for managing and growing this unique program that provides career and self-employment support services to artists of all disciplines.
The successful candidate must be familiar with the arts community and have business experience or training. They will be responsible for:
- coaching clients,
- facilitating workshops and working with various stakeholders including volunteers and partner organizations.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, flexible, and passionate about the arts.
Skills required:
Familiarity with the arts community including associations, grantors, schools
Business coaching experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player with solid organizational and time management skills;
Able to work independently;
Task and detailed oriented;
Outstanding writing skills;
Database (an asset);
Experience in the non-profit sector
Bilingual (English & French);
Accounting skills (Desirable)
Workshop facilitation skills
Strong knowledge of computer systems Word, Excel, Power Point, access Qualifications:
Business degree or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a coordination role
Experience in the arts |
