Project Managers, Fundraising Research & Innovation
Due to our growth we are looking for two experienced fundraisers to join our team, one in a regular full-time position and another in a full-time 1 year contract position. As part of this newly-created team in our Ontario Division Office, you will identify and execute new and innovative opportunities to establish the Canadian Cancer Society as a visionary leader in fundraising. You are a positive, high-energy, committed individual who thrives in a team based, goal oriented environment, an agent of change ready to motivate and inspire creative thinking. Your role will be to monitor industry activity/market trends, analyze existing programs, and identify ideas and strategies for revenue growth, as well as seek out and develop a framework for new fundraising opportunities. You must be able to liaise with all levels of the organization and leverage relationships through collaboration, diplomacy and expertise to achieve your goals. In the development of new programs you will identify market factors and history, best practices, identified risks, required resources, success factors and attainable goals.
A well-rounded project manager, you have a related post-secondary education, and at least three years of experience, preferably in a multi-level, non-profit organization, as well as knowledge of the off-site implementation of community events. As a strong communicator you are able to present ideas effectively and are ready to develop your skills by taking on new challenges and opportunities. A solid understanding MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) is necessary. Occasional travel throughout the province and evening/weekend work may be required.
In return for your contributions, we offer a very attractive compensation package, which encompasses a salary in the high 40K range, excellent benefits, advancement opportunities, and the chance to work in a supportive, caring environment.
