adults with intellectual disabilities and requires a full time teacher starting
August 15th, 2008.
The successful candidate will:
- be a registered/certified teacher in BC
- have special education and literacy teaching experience
- possess a talent to inspire students and innately
recognize that people with intellectual disabilities are lifelong learners

The
Down Syndrome
Research Foundation is a registered Canadian charity whose mission is to
maximize the ability of individuals with Down syndrome, enabling them to lead
independent lives and to participate in the community in which they live. This
is achieved through research, education, information dissemination and clinical
services.
The organization was founded in 1995 due to the need
expressed by concerned families and medical professionals for more relevant
information and research into Down syndrome. Since its inception the DSRF has
grown to be internationally recognized in the Down syndrome community as a
leading centre of excellence.
