Unit Manager

 

Are you a proven manager with a fundraising background and excellent organizational and communication skills? If so, you’ll want to take a closer look at this dynamic opportunity to manage the daily operations of our Bluewater Unit in Owen Sound. You will provide leadership to Unit Council, staff and volunteers, oversee the delivery of fundraising, outreach and community service activities, and build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders to enhance the Society’s profile within the community. To meet these exciting challenges, you must have a post-secondary education, preferably in Business, sound financial management knowledge, and several years of HR management experience, including supervising and motivating staff, or engaging and supporting a large base of volunteers. Familiarity with the local community is essential. As some travel may be required, a valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation are necessary.

 

In return for your contributions, we offer a very attractive compensation package, which encompasses a salary in the high 40K range, excellent benefits, including a pension plan, 3 weeks of vacation, flex-time, advancement opportunities, and the chance to work in a supportive, caring environment.
