Community Programs Consultant
In this exciting opportunity with our Toronto team, you will be a key contributor to the effective delivery of the Society’s programs for cancer patients and their families. Acting as resource to community-based staff and volunteers, you will work as a member of the regional team by coordinating and facilitating training, exploring opportunities for program expansion, monitoring program delivery quality, and acting as a liaison between community offices and the provincial office.
Along with related post-secondary education and experience in a multi-level organization, you have a background in training and community services coordination in the health-care field. Knowledge of volunteer management principles, health-care environmental trends and community promotion principles is key to your success. A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required as is an ability to work with databases.
